This renovation project transformed an underutilized space, extending the flooring after removing the carpet to create a larger, more cohesive area. To bring openness to the dining room, we restructured the window behind the table, inviting natural light and enhancing the airy feel. One standout feature is the client’s beloved black lacquer dining table, which we carefully stripped to reveal its natural finish.

The client also wanted to replace the staircase, so we redesigned it to complement the main door, adding a harmonious flow. A soft gray finish on the wall adds warmth, aligning with the vision for a traditional yet contemporary home. We incorporated classical details to blend traditional charm with the home’s modern foundation, achieving a timeless, balanced look.
